Evidence In Motion Announces Network Partner Consortium in the Mid-Atlantic Region

Evidence In Motion (EIM)  is pleased to announce a Network Partner Consortium partnership with Body Dynamics, Inc., Gold Medal Physical Therapy, Loudoun Physical Therapy, and ProAction Physical Therapy.  This will allow partners to collaborate in the delivery of EIM’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency, Sports Physical Therapy Residency, Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, and Transition DPT in Musculoskeletal Management training programs.

Using the most up-to-date research and cutting edge technology, EIM is transforming the way physical therapists are trained and educated.  EIM’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency, Sports Physical Therapy Residency, Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, and Transition DPT in Musculoskeletal Management training programs are delivered to the physical therapist, where they live and work, through web-based educational “distance learning” platforms.  Online learning is complimented by a thorough mentoring program and on-site weekend intensives conducted at Network Partner locations throughout the United States.

Based on educational research, the hybrid model of online education and on-site intensives demonstrates a best-in-education approach.  This is the exact approach that EIM was founded in and has successfully used to graduated over 100 physical therapists in its APTA credentialed Residency and Fellowship Programs.

Body Dynamics, Inc., Gold Medal Physical Therapy, Loudoun Physical Therapy, and ProAction Physical Therapy will serve as training locations for EIM’s clinical residencies, fellowship, and traditional continuing education curriculum.  The partnership will also allow Consortium partners to expand their internal clinical education and research activities. Several of the offerings included in the Residency and Fellowship curricula will be made available to other Consortium staff, enhancing lifelong learning and quality improvement initiatives for many of their professional personnel.

“The Consortium’s collaborative partnership is very valuable to all parties”, states Larry Benz, DPT, MBA, ECS, OCS, Co-founder of EIM.  “EIM’s educational offerings will fulfill Body Dynamics, Gold Medal Physical Therapy, Loudoun Physical Therapy, and ProAction Physical Therapy personnel’s educational needs.  At the same time, the partnership will allow EIM to reach a broader range of physical therapists.  Ultimately, this venture will enhance patient care in the Mid-Atlantic region.”
