Puyallup, Wash. – December 4, 2013 – Apple Physical Therapy CEO, Randy Johnson, received the “Others” award from The Salvation Army for his spirit of service to “others.” The award honors Randy and Apple’s spirit of service to “others” through the Salvation Army, as well as in the greater community.
Randy commented, “I’m honored to receive this award. It’s an important testament to Apple’s core values in action. Compassion is one that is knit into the fabric of our entire culture to the point that I doubt there’s a weekend where Apple, on some level, isn’t serving the community.”
For many years, Apple Physical Therapy has worked with The Salvation Army through service projects and other events benefitting the community at Apple Physical Therapy clinics around the region.
Apple Physical Therapy fall coat drives have donated more than 11,000 coats, socks and underwear since counting began in 2005. Coat drives are held in the clinics every fall, where staff and patients are encouraged to help needy community members stay warm.
Each Christmas season, Apple Physical Therapy clinics also participate in the Salvation Army’s Adopt-a-Family program and help make Christmas bright for struggling families.
