The EIM Industrial Health Certification (IHC): Clinical Track, developed in partnership with Fit For Work, is designed for physical and occupational therapists looking to develop or refine their skills in occupational ergonomics (office and/or industrial), consulting practices, anatomy & physiology as it relates to the work environment, and in identifying/mitigating work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

EIM’s IHC will position you to become a highly skilled practitioner with advanced competency in the realm of occupational ergonomics and consulting.

The Experience

The majority of the Industrial Health Certification takes place wherever you happen to be. Coursework consists of a dynamic combination of didactic, collaborative, and clinical education experiences using a blend of distance learning, online courses, and weekend intensive on-site courses. You will walk away from this 13-month experience with the tools and experience you need to grow your business and skill set.

The Industrial Health Certification includes:

  • Virtual rounds and case presentations for interactive learning and peer review
  • Robust examination processes to ensure student mastery of material and interventions
  • A 13-month cohort setting that builds lasting professional relationships with fellow students
  • Constructive credit / waivers granted for select previously completed certification-level courses

  • Essentials of Musculoskeletal Imaging
  • Business Management Principles for the Rehabilitation Therapist
