Clinical Podcast: The Residency Debate with Dr. Robert Rowe

This week, on the EIM Clinical Podcast, Dr. Jeff Moore and Dr. John Childs are joined by Dr. Robert (Bob) Rowe, the Executive Director of the Brooks Institute for Higher Learning, where he develops and manages residency and fellowship programs. Dr. Rowe’s clinical specialization and interest is within the specialty area of orthopaedics, with particular interest managing individuals with spine and pelvic girdle conditions.

Today’s discussion centers around the current debate in residency training, should it be mandatory or not, and how that can impact our practices and those coming out of school into current practice.

Quite interesting. Have known Rob for many years and certainly respect his opinion. Still waiting for POF but have not seen much progress. Not
a fault of PT much as Insurance. Got lots of data but yet to see it sway payers. Would like to have that conversation with Rob.
