Evidence In Motion Announces Partnership with JACO Rehab

Evidence In Motion (EIM), a company that provides cutting-edge programs, research, resources, and training to the world’s community of practicing rehab professionals, is pleased to announce an official partnership with JACO Rehab. As part of the collaboration, JACO Rehab becomes a Network Partner for EIM’s evidence-based training programs in two Hawaii locations.

Using the most up-to-date research and cutting edge technology, EIM is transforming the way physical therapists are trained and educated. EIM’s Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy Residencies, Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, Postprofessional DPT programs, and certification training programs are delivered to the physical therapist where they live and work through web-based, educational “distance learning” platforms. This online learning is complimented by a thorough mentoring program and on-site weekend intensives conducted at Network Partner locations throughout the United States.

Through the Network Partnership with EIM, JACO Rehab will serve as a training location for EIM’s clinical residencies, fellowship, and traditional continuing education curriculum. The partnership will allow EIM to reach a broader base of physical therapists while allowing JACO Rehab to expand its internal clinical education and research activities. Several of the offerings included in the Residency and Fellowship curricula will be made available to all JACO Rehab staff, enhancing lifelong learning and quality improvement initiatives for professional personnel.

Many members of EIM’s faculty are recognized internationally for their contributions to education, research, and clinical practice. EIM’s faculty have received more than 95 research grants totaling over $10.5 million, taught over 220 university level courses, founded over forty different business organizations, and held appointed positions in more than 40 state and 115 national and international professional associations. Under their supervision, Residents and Fellows have the opportunity to receive the highest caliber of training and become distinguished leaders in evidence-based orthopaedic and manual physical therapy practice.

Many of EIM’s graduates become leaders in clinical education within their practice, affiliated with high quality academic programs, and are highly engaged with the American Physical Therapy Association on an issue of relevance to the profession.
