Dual Tasking is a functional mobility concern among older adults and associated with the risk of falls. Uncertainty about the evaluation process results in multiple clinical challenges. We’ll explore these questions: Is it a dual tasking limitation? If so, what components of dual tasking should be addressed? Are interventions improving patients’ ability to dual task?

About the Presenter
Mariana Wingood, PT, DPT, GCS, CEEAA, is a physical therapist with seven years of experience, primarily in geriatrics. She is pursuing her PhD, but continues to work in her clinic to ensure she doesn’t lose sight of what matters most: the patient.
