The Executive Program In Private Practice Management with Optional TDPT

EIM students are exposed to a vast community of evidence-based practitioners, both as instructors and colleagues, all embracing best business practices in an Executive MBA-style format. Focus is on the operations management aspect of running a practice, with a clinical component in Radiology, Med Screening/Pharmacology and EBP. The Executive Program offers a TDPT option as well.

The Objective
A 12-month program of post-professional education for physical therapists designed to enhance the business savvy and sophistication of private practice physical therapy with evidence-based business and best practices which result in elevation of the role of physical therapy in health care delivery as well as the status of PT’s in the marketplace.

The Experience
A combination of didactic and collaborative education experiences using a combination of distance learning, on-line courses, and on-site courses. PT’s will develop documents specific to their practice to enhance the management of their operation. Course work requires 2-5 hours per week, whenever it is convenient for you.

The Opportunity
Create and sustain a community of private practices that enable ongoing collaboration and cross consulting after completion of the program.

Admission Requirements


  1. All students must be owners or managers in private physical therapy practices.
  2. All students accepted into the Program must be a PT or employed by a PT who has successfully completed an APTA accredited professional physical therapy curriculum. Office managers who are not PTs may apply if they have a bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent experience.
  3. All students must be a PT or employed by a PT with a current license to practice physical therapy. This license must not be under suspension, revocation, probationary status, or subject to disciplinary proceedings or inquiry.
  4. All students or their practice must be active members of the APTA.
Admission to the program is at the discretion of EIM.

Tuition and Fees
$100 Application Fee must accompany the application. Total tuition for the EIM Executive Program in Private Practice Management is $10,500 plus materials/graduation fee of $450. The total for the TDPT optional courses is $2000.

 
APTA PPS Members are eligible for a 7.5% discount on the $10,500 tuition.
